Small quantity standard carbide stock samples can sometimes be provided free of charge, while buyers cover freight cost. If you need multiple pieces or large size carbide blanks, material cost will be charged.
Custom Prototype Sample Cost
Custom samples usually charge raw material cost plus machining fee. For complex carbide parts, fixture and tooling cost may also be included.
Sample fee refund policy: In most cases, sample cost can be deducted from your future bulk order once the order quantity reaches the agreed volume. This rule varies by product complexity and order value. It is better to confirm refund terms before sample production starts.
Sample Production Lead Time
- Stock samples: 1~3 working days for preparation and shipment
- Simple custom carbide parts (ground rods, simple plates): 5~10 working days
- Complex custom carbide dies, special-shaped blades: 10~20 working days, depends on machining difficulty and inspection requirements
Lead time does not include international shipping time. If you need special inspection reports such as hardness, density or TRS certificates, extra time for material testing will be required.
